Angel Poems

Little Angels When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above.
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
for no heartache compares with
the death of one small child,
who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them
and so He takes but few,
to make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind know
will always be "Goodbye".
So when a child departs
we who are left behind,
must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.

ANOTHER GREAT NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER FOR TODAY Silvia Mamami

Silvia Mamani
O Great Spirit, that flies on the wind and carries us in your arms, we offer our prayers to alleviate the suffering of mankind and to bring light to hearts where it is needed most. We pray that those who live in fear, ignorance, and pain look to the skies and find comfort in the wonder of their very creation. We raise our voices in gratitude for this experience of being human and pray to be perfect instruments of light and love in this world. We pray that you allow us to lift the light in our hearts into one pure rainbow of love so that all open hearts may return to your embrace. For the good of all, we pray to be open to your guidance in small moments, where a hair's breadth can change our minds; in these moments, we pray that you enter our hearts and guide us to right action. We pray that the road of love be open to us that we may walk hand in hand, in love, to a glorious new day.

I bless the animals, I bless the children, I bless the timid.
I bless the injured, I bless the struggle.
I bless myself, I bless those who have harmed me, I pray for their peace.
I bless the Earth, I bless fire, I bless water.
I bless the Warriors of Light, I bless the sacred nine directions.

Thank you for receiving my prayer, relatives

REPENT WHILE Your thinking about it NOW!! GOD BLESS US ALL TODAY!!!

Each person on the face of the Earth is precious to
our Heavenly Father! He grieves each time a soul is
lost, for; The Lord is not slow in keeping
His promise, as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you, not wanting anyone
to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Therefore all the company of Heaven rejoices
over every person that has been brought into
His Kingdom! ( 2 Peter 3:9 )

Now we can help bring lost souls into the Kingdom of
Heaven by telling them about our Heavenly Father. For,
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the
word of God. ( Romans 10:17 )

We can also help by showing them the way we live.
We do that by living according to the Scriptures, obeying
the Laws of God, and by our showing loving kindness
and mercy towards others

NATIVE AMERICAN CODE OF ETHICS Unknown Author?

1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit
will listen, if you only speak.

2. Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit,
anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will
find guidance.

3. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your
path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with
you, but no one can walk it for you.

4. Treat the guests in your home with much consideration. Serve
them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with
respect and honor.

5. Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community,
the wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not
yours.

6. Respect all things that are placed upon this earth - whether it be
people or plant.

7. Honor other people's thoughts, wishes and words. Never interrupt
another or mock or rudely mimic them. Allow each person the right to
personal expression.

8. Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you
put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.

9. All persons make mistakes. And all mistakes can be forgiven.

10. Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind, body and spirit. Practice
optimism.

11. Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us. They are part of your
worldly family.

12. Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and
water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown,
give them space to grow.

13. Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will
return to you.

14. Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the test of ones will within this
universe.

15. Keep yourself balanced. Your Mental self, Spiritual self,
Emotional self, and Physical self - all need to be strong, pure and
healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich in
spirit to cure emotional ails.

16. Make conscious decisions as to who you will be and how you
will react. Be responsible for your own actions.

17. Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not
touch the personal property of others - especially sacred and
religious objects. This is forbidden.

18. Be true to yourself first. You cannot nurture and help others if
you cannot nurture and help yourself first.

19. Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on
others.

20. Share your good fortune with others. Participate in charity.

SACRED WHITE SPIRIT ANIMALS

Albino Spirit Animals

Most all every Native American tribe had some manner of "spirit" belief regarding albino animals. The Albino was protected by most Native American customs. Within the Northeastern Woodlands, Leni Lenape, Susquehannock, Iroquois (Six Nations) , etc. One primary principle: The Albino was not to be hunted or killed. This taboo carried various curses. According to Bear Two Arrows (Eastern Delaware), knowledgeable of owl medicine, the taboo and its various curses are known among more respectful contemporary hunters with or without Native American ancestry. He relates his own experience regarding an albino owl, and it's connection to owl spirit medicine. [Leni Lenape words for: white, Wapsu; owl, Gokhos.] If an albino squirrel were hunted and killed, the hunter would suffer loss of his hunting abilities. If an albino deer were killed (and without remorse) the hunter might later loose his life in a freak accident often involving his hunting or survival skills. The general belief in certain legends concerning various individual animals persists into the 20th century, many of which can be documented. Among all tribes, the Albino animal had spirit connections, one of the strongest among the Plains tribe was the White Buffalo, a definite omen of great wisdom. The symbolic significance behind white or the quality of "whiteness" was not associated with purity as in Western culture but also wisdom and ancient knowledge of greater conceptual and spiritual magnitude. Depending on the animal species involved and how it corresponds within the greater tribal cosmological context sometimes manifests the extent of the consequences when the taboo is broken. Belief in the "spirit nature" of albino animals and the ritual taboo of protection probably has its roots in the fact that an albino's ability to survive natural predators is greatly reduced by the lack of proper pigmentation for camouflage and keener vision to spot prey. These natural attributes render an albino "unfair" game for the Native hunter, or any hunter aware of the spiritual nature these animals might possess. Even the skin or hides of these animals must be treated with reverence. Following the customs of these legends regarding the hunting and trapping restrictions were not in as much out of fear for the taboo but more so with respect to the higher aspect of Nature and the Creator.

Want to Quit Drinking? Try LSD Instead! - JohnsAddiction

Want to Quit Drinking? Try LSD Instead! - JohnsAddictionResearch out of Norway suggests that LSD can cure your alcoholism. For real.

Lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD, was used in the 1960s and 70s for all sorts of research. Some of that research involved alcoholics and alcoholism. Now modern day researchers in Norway re-analyzed that research using a sometimes controversial method known as “meta analysis”, to see if the entire collection of data from multiple studies might reveal more than the individual studies did on their own back then.

Proponents of meta analysis are often criticized for their less-than-realistic interpretation of raw data. They often used complex statistical methods to work around complications that make more direct analysis impossible. Since they are not actually doing the data collection, meta analysts ignore factors that could be very significant if it were possible to include them, according to critics.

In this case, meta analysis suggests that doses of LSD may have been more effective than anti-drinking drugs like daily naltrexone (ReVia), acamprosate (Campral), or disulfiram (Antabuse).

Repentance – The Missing Link | Christian IssuesRepentance – The Missing Link
Posted on 24/02/2012 by ChristianIssues
Many Christians say that leading a holy, repentant life is not necessary for salvation and others say that a person only has to believe. By this they mean that if someone just believes, just knows, that Jesus died for their sins then they are saved and that is that. In this article, I would like to look at what it means to believe and what Jesus meant when He said, “unless you repent, you too will all perish” (Luke 13:3).

Believing (Faith)
James 2:19 shows that believing for salvation is more than just understanding or knowing about something. It says, “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that – and shudder.” James tells us that the demons believe in God but their knowledge isn’t doing them any good so believing for salvation is more than just having head knowledge like the demons.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” In this verse, the word believe has a deeper meaning than simply knowing about something. Strong’s dictionary tells us that believing means to have faith in someone and to commit to and entrust our spiritual well being to them. In 2 Tim. 1:12 Paul said, “I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.” Paul was committed to and trusted in Jesus for his spiritual well being and he believed that Jesus was able to guard it until the judgment. Also, Jude 1:24 tells us that Jesus “is able to keep you from falling” so we can see that to believe in Jesus for our salvation is to commit our ways to Him and to trust that He is able to keep us spiritually strong so that we don’t fall.

Confessing and repenting
Repentance is described as a change of mind but if we say we have changed our mind about sin, yet haven’t turned away from our sinful lifestyle, then we are hypocrites and have not truly repented. For example, if I slapped you in the face, said sorry, then slapped you again, said sorry again, slapped you again etc., it would not take long for you to see through my hypocrisy and refuse to accept my apology. In the same way, God will not forgive anyone who comes to Him without a truly repentant heart.

For a non-believer to receive forgiveness and be saved he must repent of his sins. Acts 3:19 says, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out ….” As already said, to repent means to change our mind about something so to be saved a person must change their mind about their sinful lifestyle and turn away from it. Many people say that once we are saved there is no need to repent any more, however, in Luke 13:3 the word repent is present tense so Jesus is really saying, “unless you repent [and continue to repent], you too will all perish.” So, to be saved, we must turn from sin and continue that way otherwise Jesus said that we will perish.

The purpose of this article is to show that repentance is the missing link in the salvation of many believers. Many in the churches are not saved even though they know the Bible very well and believe in Jesus. They only believe like the demons believe and are not committed to living a holy life by following the Lord’s commands. If a believer does not confess and repent of any sin he may commit then that sin will remain unforgiven. Whenever we sin, we must confess to receive forgiveness and this is made clear by the word ‘if’ in 1 John 1:9 which says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” If we don’t confess then we won’t be forgiven. In this verse, confessing our sins is more that just admitting we have sinned. When we confess a sin, if we have no intention of turning from that sin then the Lord, who sees our heart, will not forgive us. True confession of sin naturally includes repentance. If we simply admit our guilt without having the intention or desire to stop sinning then we are being hypocritical and God will not forgive us. God will only forgive if our heart is right – Isa 66:2 says, “This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite [remorseful and repentant] in spirit, and trembles at my word.” God does not esteem hypocrites.

Is repentance the missing link in your walk with God? Does sin have power over you? It is God’s promise that confession will bring more than just forgiveness. The promise in 1 John 1:9 is that God will not only forgive you but He will also purify you from all unrighteousness. Jesus verifies this truth in John 8:34-36 where He says, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” In these verses Jesus is saying that He can free you from slavery to sin so that you will no longer be a temporary slave in the family, but a son forever.

Finally, sin and repentance are rarely preached today; it is as though they have become dirty words. It seems that the vast majority of preachers avoid the subjects for fear of emptying their church and losing their income. However, this does not alter the fact that sin separates us from God as Isa. 59:2 tells us, “But you iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” Repentance brings down the barrier of separation to link us back up with God and without it there can be no relationship with Jesus, hence no salvation

Thanksgiving
We return thanks to our mother, the earth,
which sustains us.
We return thanks to the rivers and streams,
which supply us with water.
We return thanks to all herbs,
which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
We return thanks to the moon and stars,
which have given to us their light when the sun was gone.
We return thanks to the sun,
that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye.
Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit,
in Whom is embodied all goodness,
and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.

Cana Ixim

Cana Iximin the mayan language, this means "Lady of the corn"

"The head's name is 'Cana Ixim' in Mayan language (Lady of the Corn in English). The weight, about 4 pounds; Size, 9 centimeters (3.5 inches) width and 10 Centimeters (4 inches) Height. This head formed of green jade."

The person in Guatemala who held this skull recognized that he was not its guardian, but managed to save this sacred object, seeking "someone with a heart of love with good hands". It has a sacred history and several healing related anecdotes, so he believed that this crystal skull is meant to be with a healer rather than a collector.

The last guardian of this Mayan crystal skull kept it until his death at 85 years of age. The skull was originally found inside a cave that connects to the source of the river Sachichaj in a mountain about 100 miles from Peten, Guatemala (referred to as the Authentic Mayan land). The Sachichaj River (pictured below) possesses a beautiful characteristic in that it has a turquoise color, similar to the blue jade color of this crystal skull, Cana Ixim.

The following excerpt comes directly from a reliable source: "The person tell me that the history he listen from his father and he was hear from his antecessors was that a few days before the skull appears or was found it, in Guatemala was a big volcano eruption and a lot of people die, and the skull ( Cana Ixim ) appears to help and it won't let that never happen again. They use it the heal sick people, snake bites, help woman pregnant (the head was collocate in the stomach of the future mother), ceremony for planting (in Guatemala the indigenous celebrate ceremonies to bless their plantations for good harvest). The most shocking cases are an old lady that can't move her fingers because has it rigid and twisted ( I assume rheum ) - after the ceremony of healing she put hands on the skull she can move her fingers easily. A man that suddenly disappears a big mass (possible Tumor) in his stomach."

The Guatemalan keeper recognized that it is meant to do more good in the hands of a healer than it would gathering dust on a museum shelf where it would be regarded simply as an artifact rather than as a sacred tool.

Regarding its Mayan name "Cana ixim" ("Lady of the Corn" in English), it is interesting to note that corn was the sustenance and life-supporting force of the people. Corn represents the harvest of abundance, prosperity and plenty. It symbolizes female fertility and male virility.

Meditations for MOTHER EARTH

"Because woman lives so close to our first mother, the Earth, she emanates the strength and harmonious nature of all things."
--Larry P. Aitken, CHIPPEWA
At an Elders gathering, held in July 1991, we were told the Indian woman would play an instrumental part in leading the healing of Indian nations. The old people said we were to look up to her in a sacred manner. They said the Earth Mother would give the woman special gifts of love. The woman and the Earth Mother are connected in a special way. Women should pay attention to the lessons coming from the earth. Men should treat the women with respect, dignity and honor.
Grandfather, Grandmother, give the Indian woman Your strength to heal our earth
